I am in need of a 70 Challenger, single speaker dash pad. I bought a 69 B pad off a guy at Carlilse. He was in the later rows and had nothing but dash pads. Row somewhere in the K-O range possibly. I lost his contact. Does anyone know who this is? Or someone who would have a well done one is stock? I need one asap as usual. Thanks for the help.

Personally, I'd deal with Dave at Roseville before going direct to UR. Dave sells UR pads and will help you if you have issues.
I got mine through Nick in AZ and without his pestering I probably would still be waiting for it. One customer has some pull. A dealer that has hundreds of customers has a lot more. Plus that, Roseville gives great service.

I met Alan at Carlisle and picked up a pad for the AAR at the Nationals. The first one he tried to give me was lifting at the vent slots, he said something about seconds which desturbed me. He got another shipment Saturday morning and the one I got seemed to be fine, time will tell. The thing that really bothered me was that he was gonna try to pass the bad one off to me like I wouldn't notice. This is after making prior arrangements and payment to pick it up and carrying my core from Florida. He actually charged me more than I over heard him offer pads to other as a show price, not a significant amount but $20 is $20. Duely noted.
Just my experience.
Careful, your character's showing!

Don't buy from Alan Foxx!!!!!!!!!! The dude is a crook who will lie to you and make you wait a YEAR for your prepaid dashpad. Ask me how I know... Google search him and see the lawsuit and the better business bureau ratings, I wish I had before I dealt with him. Never again! Beware!
OUCH.
I too am looking for an E body dashpad (71 Challenger Non AC). So who DOES eveyone use?
I walked by a guy with the pile of black dashes at Carlisle. I didn't even STOP cause all of them appeared to have the black vinyl detaching from the foam.

Jim, you would have walked right by the guy in question (think he might have even been the same row).
Ultimate Rides does make some nice dashpads, but it's always best to see the one you're getting before laying out the $$$, if possible.
Given your proximity to Roseville, IMHO I'd go directly to Mike Riehl's, straight back to the parts department and deal with Dave. Especially since he might have several pads in stock.
