I recently took a rear slider out of a 1990 Ram and am going to put it in my 1986 Ram that has the standard glass without slider.

It seems that the slider window may have a different rubber gasket than the one for just plain glass. Am I correct?

Also, does anyone have a part number for the locking snap for the windows? The slider is original Mopar...the locking snap must have broken off at some point in the past...

Yes different gaskets. Your local glass shop should know what you need

Thats what I thought...great...my buddy was helping me take the window out and was pulling on the rubber gasket so hard he tore it. At first I didn't care since I still had the one in my truck...

Upon looking at it I figured I needed the rear slider gasket...and mine wasn't the same.

Anyone have one for sale?

you can get a new snap lock for the slider at the dealer

try them for the gasket also.
