Rusted tank for a 64 300, I'd like to get a new one but don't seem to be able to find it. Does anyone know a source? gastanks.com/Quanta does not list one. Any help appreciated.

Check and see if it can interchange...maybe a newport/new yorker tank or fury tank will work

Yeah pretty sure all of them will interchange. Probably for several years but I don't see anything listed for any of them. I don't really want a used one unless I have too.

I have a friend looking for a tank for his '64 Newport and there don't appear to be any repops.

I thought I remember following a link from here on Moparts that people were swapping in a different tank, maybe a 65 B body tank, I think the sender is in a different location so a longer hose & extend the sender wire....Anyway I remember what ever tank they use it bolts in, the filler is in the right spot & it's avalible as a repo....Someone needs to do the research on this...
