I'm using a pair of Edelbrock RPM heads that are being stuffed with 2.19" intake and the standard 1.81" exhaust valves. Going with a solid roller blower grind from Bullet. I know the stem diameter on the RPM's are 11/32. But my question is, will the stock valve length work with a .600 lift cam? Or will I have to go with a longer valve?

RPM heads should be good past .600 lift. You should be able to get about 1.80 or 1.85 installed height on the valve spring which should give you enough for more than .600 lift.

Pettis put 2.19 valves in my home ported rpm`s and everything`s great so far w/a .680-.660 Isky solid roller however the installed height leaves a bit to be desired.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I was thinking along those lines, but wasn't sure.

Nice! I'm actually doing some home bowl work, and mild porting myself as well. I'd like to see 300-310cfm @ .600 lift, with the 2.19's and my bowl work/porting. We'll see what the flow bench comes back with lol.

Not sure what mine flow and don`t really care but the bigger valve along w/good bowl work and valve job should be a good improvement........

By the way, who's valves did you go with? Are you using titanium retainers?

I think they were SI valves but not sure honestly and my retainers are 13+ year old TI from Isky.

If you really want to maxamize the intake port do away w/as much p-rod pinch as you can or sleeve it so you know how far you can go.........Mine are very thin but if I did it again I`d do as suggested w/the sleeves.
