I was just kidding my dad on the sissy sticks! Imagine how much HP it would take to pull that heavy front end up a few FEET! Yikes!

Stock 18 spline, 2.65 low gear. Dana out back with 4.56's and a 29" tall tire. Launch rpm was at 5400. I've been using an 11" Center Force DF for many years.

thanks for the info.

about how many passes a year would you say you make with it?

or, how many passes do you think its got on it since you had any "issues"?

"H" pattern shifter?

Usually do 6-7 races a year with the UMTR guys. Figure 2 time trials at each race and first round runner-up. So about 18-21 trips down the track each year.
With this past set up, (DF cover and Ram puck disc, I got about 10 runs before it started to slip. I have since gone back to a complete CFDF set up, which I ran for several years with no issues. The only reason I went with the Ram disc was because the DFX disc was on back order when I was ready for it. I changed my mind about the DFX disc due to cost if for no other reason.
Shifter is a Hurst Super Shifter 3 with reverse lock out. Yes an "H" pattern shifter.

Larry's a nice guy, I exchanged some PMs with him about his car to pick his brain since my car is a 3 pedal car too. Nice car, hes owned it for quite a while from what I remember him saying.
