Are the rear torque boxes supposed to be welded to the sill?

Thanks

Yes, there is one short bead on the front and one on the back between the torque box and the rocker. It's very important that the boxes be welded in by someone that has never welded before, on a Saturday morning after a good night of drinking so you get that "factory look".

Is there any problem with warpage welding in that area? Also I'm a perfect canidate for the welding because I've never welded with a stick. Should there be a piece of welding rod left in the weld? LOL
