GLR master G Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 2,506 Northern Pa	Yes..that is true..I happened to find a Dana 61 in a 1985 Ford Truck...with 3:07 rear gears for my project!...Hard to find...the 3:07 and 3:31 rear gears are only offered in the Dana 61 in early to mid 80's Ford 3/4 ton 2WD trucks

I admit that I haven't tried to install them yet, but when I was looking for some, the info I dug up indicated that 78 or 79 ford F250 pickup trucks were available with 3.33 gears in a dana 60. Can't say what carrier they would require. my Jess Yeah, it's hopped up to over 160...

I think they look almost identical except the pinion is offset to accommodate the bigger pinion of the 3.xx gears. Kevin
