NO need for duals on a 185 hp engine. I just put headers/Hooker Aero Chamber muffler and a homemade 2.5 mandrel bend system on mt 81 360 CC Dually.. Sounds great !!! More than adequit.

I am truckless..

I run a single system with no cat or mufflers all the way out back.
Not loud at all, until I get into it.

a dual exhaust fan myself. Im going to be putting 2.5" duals ony stock 5th ave. Go to summitracing.com they carry dual kits and remember truck and rc's array basically the same so headers fit from a truck.

I had duals on my stock 84 Rc also. Just don't try and run 3" duals. That's too much

Me too but the gas tank is in the way, and it already had a good y pipe.
Just cost the price of the pipes.

The gas tank on the Ramcharger is between the frame at the rear.

I have plenty of room with duals on the RC. The pipes run to the rear and turn out in a factory style, one per side of course.

You must be use to straight back duals. As Jamie state its also alt easier to run dual on an RC

Yeah I know they run em down the same side, but cost was a consideration for me. Just a few bucks. My junk ain't worth dumping much cash into.
Had no idea R/Cs were different. It does sound good to me and not loud when driving conservatively.

Same side? Rc you can run them clear back on each side. Trucks Have to be down one side do to saddle tank

Ok I wasnt sure if what you meant. If you dont want duals order

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-40491/overview/make/dodge/model/d350/year/1984
run 2.5" back and through the muffler to this(modifications may be needed for this ie cutting it shorter)

Doing this to my 75 rite now
