why would there be an rpm limit? keep in mind it's only 105 octane. at least down here.

500 ci wedge, 696 RWHP normally aspirated @ 7400 RPM on E85

I saw a 654 ci Hemi get 950 RWHP normally aspirated on E85 at Springfield, MO in 2008

Same carb your looking at... you might want to go bigger..
as you said you need RPM and RPM takes air and fuel

It's most definitely NOT only 105 octane either... maybe on a test stand, but not in real world applications.

Almost as good as 116 from what I've seen with the turbo guys...

Won't make as much power as Q16 though. Lots of guys making over 800hp with it.

when it comes to the turboguys the E85 has the advantage of cooling stuff aswell and i bet it does that part better than 116 therefore makeing E85 a good fuel for forced induction

back to the topic of 800HP N/A on the E85,yes it works and is more than just tried. there is streetcars running in the 8īs on that stuff.

I don't really think there is a limit N/A. Just make sure the fuel and ignition systems are up to the task. The boost guys in the know claim 1400hp is the limit non-intercooled. I plan on testing that.

I've heard the octane can vary by season and location. But in General 110 is a safe number to assume. It can be higher and lower depending!!

NOT SURE HERE: but seems that E-85 vs Gasoline is kind of like Aluminum vs Iron heads. You can run Higher compression and get away with it and in many cases NEED to do so. That said if you can run 13:1 with 110-gasoline you may be able to run 14:1 compression with E-85.

I do know several accounts of people running 10.5:1 to 11.5:1 compression and 14-16 psi boost on E-85. Far a HP or ET's ?????
