I bought out a dealership parts dept. years ago that had boxes of shocks. I went through them last year, and split it into Mopar shocks and aftermarket ones. The Mopar ones all have numbers that do not correspond to actual part #'s. I was unable to find any info anywhere, but thought someone here may have a list. These all would be pre-'76 over the counter replacements, so I would think they would be very close to, or the same as assembly line ones. I saw that FM had listed some a while back, giving the numbers on them as correct for whatever car, and emailed asking if he knew how to ID, but got no response.

Any help would be appreciated, I could list the numbers and/or take pictures if needed.
