Are the drums the same for front and rear?

if they are 2 all the way around sure.

but typically the front are 2.5 and the rear are 2.
HD got 3 up front and 2.5 in back as I recall.

Are you asking if they are the same size or if you can swap them front to back?
Drums are ordered by size. The backing plate will determine the size as the hub or axle flange will always be on the same plane.

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.

The car has 11"x2" brakes all around, just wanted to know if the drums were the same front to rear. Thanks

My 67 has 11 by 2 shoes only on the rear, John.

Front drums always have hubs with bearings in them so you can mount them on the spindle.
Rear drums just mount on the axle's flange. So no, the drums are not the same.

drum is a drum by size only. no front or rear.
I don't ever recall seeing one sold with the hub. always had to junkyard that part.

the lug studs are swaged on, so that must be cut, or you will screw something up trying to pound the hub out of the drum.

I've never seen a 11"x 2" drum on the front. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist though. I know for a fact my 73 4x4 p/u had 2" drums front and rear but the drums were not interchangeable from front to rear due to the centers being hub centric. I think typically the fronts are 3" and very often are a finned drum. rear 2 1/2" are typically finned also. I just sold a 67 Fury 1 and it had 11" x 2" on the rear (no fins) and what looked like a 2 1/2" on the front. (finned)
