Restoring my 1970 A body Rallye dash and instrument cluster is next on my list. I've been trying to do most of the work on this car myself. I talked to several places that do instrument resto at Carlisle this year. I've even toyed with doing the gauge faces myself with decals from Performance Car Graphics.
I'm not a tightwad but it I like to save some coin whenever possible but I also want a good looking final product. The dash assembly can get to be pretty pricey with instruments, bezel, dash pad and wiring harness.
Thought I would see what others on this forum have to say.

I did mine on the roadrunner. That look damn good. I cannot vouch for how they will hold up....dash is still not in the car...the car is at paint prison....

For the ralley gauges I did not disassemble the needles etc... you can get them on there without .

Scott, was it a part or service issue?

They do excellent work and I would always use them for my restoration work. Their decals and stripes are also very high quality. David Patik is the owner and he cares about quality.

I have used AutoInstruments.com Twice for a 69 n 70 B-Body Rally Cluster...both came out looking amazing. Ask for Gentry and he will take care of you

For the current project I tried Gcar. I had them do just the bezels as I do the rest myself and was pleased with the work.

I have'nt used them in years but when I did the parts I got back were nice...Are they still demanding the VIN,fender tag, door jamb sticker, etc... just to repair some gauges ???? Thought that was odd even back then...
