B-body leaf springs are too long for an early B-body. Pickup a copy of my B-body book, I covered the subject in there.

If the RR springs are SS they will work with Andys hangers.I have a set on my 65 B body.Stock 66 up springs have a 22 inch frt segment and are too long.Ive thought about drilling my inboard kit when I put it in for the later 22 inch springs.Just move everything forward an inch.Rocky

Elephant ears or front motor plate, cut the six cylinder mounts off and grind the welds smooth I've had several early B body(including several former NHRA stock class record holders ) The first two had fenderwell headers with the stock K member and BB motor mounts, that worked well I later swapped the fenderwells on the Stocker to a set of Hooker race chassis headers, they where a pain to change the spark plugs and starter on The last bracket and street car I built had fenderwell headers and elephant ears

The Schumacher mounts will work.Just make sure if you are making power they arent rubber. My 440 used to tear them out on my 65.I went polys and no more problems.I run TTI headers also.Rocky

Spoke to Schumacher and his mounts will put the engine in the stock 62-65 location. Since I'm not putting a max wedge intake I will change the k frame and put the engine back and lower witch will help drivability !!! Thanks
