Any Mopar racers on here that may be at Bristol this weekend? $10,000 to win each day. Ny nephew is there and he says they have over 500 cars lined up to race.

I would like to see MORE of this NO-E stuff ....wish these promoters well .... what is the entry fee ....and how far back are they paying ?
Money starts 2nd round win gets $50 3rd round $100
Pre enter buy june 1st all 3 races are $350.
One way or another I have to make it next year. Every year I want to go and something always comes up.

That was Van Greer, he is the son of the late famed funny car racer Shirl Greer, he's a heck of a racer, and is local to Bristol, really surprising to me he is not going a lot of rds but there are a lot of good racers there, over 400 last I heard, was goimg to go this year, but other things threw a wrench in the plans.

One of our local guys (Dan Smith, Qwkmopardan) left home Thursday morning to drive down there and race his Demon. I guess we'll know tomorrow how he did.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

Looks like we all should be running FoMoCo stuff....4 out of final 5 were FoMoCo.
If you like drag racing, support your local track.

kind os surprised they didn't have people standing at the starting line watching for someone trying to use a transbrake. Wondering how they police it ?
Tech is very thorough on cars that have transbrakes. Buttons are not allowed to be on the steering wheel. And there is random tech in the lanes as well. To my knowledge, in the 4 WFCs that I went to (had to miss this year), it's never been an issue.
It really hurt not to be there this year, and see my friends. This is a simply awesome race. I can't say enough good things about it, from Jared Pennington and Steve Stites (the promoters) and their families/crew in all they do to make it happen, the sponsors (prizes galore, goodie bags, free cold bottled water in the lanes, a FREE racers appreciation BBQ Sat night), the Bristol staff, and the racers themselves. Check out http://worldfootbrakechallenge.com/
Also, Mark Walters had the fantastic coverage of it. Here are his links:
