He races an older Nova and made the switch from E85 to alcohol this year. I raced his brother Kevin Romeo 1st round tonight in his dragster. My .006 light just squeaked by his .008 and he ran under trying to catch me. roadrunnerreds mopar R Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 499 Gettysburg Pa	I was there all four days Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday. didn`t do much thursday or friday lost 4th round saturday and 6th round sunday. it is a heck of a race. 440 cars friday 459 saturday and 453 sunday. there was a 69 dart in the final saturday and it was the first time no split in final dart lost to a camaro in final.

Wondering how they police it ? Tech is very thorough on cars that have transbrakes. Buttons are not allowed to be on the steering wheel. And there is random tech in the lanes as well. To my knowledge, in the 4 WFCs that I went to (had to miss this year), it's never been an issue. It really hurt not to be there this year, and see my friends. This is a simply awesome race. I can't say enough good things about it, from Jared Pennington and Steve Stites (the promoters) and their families/crew in all they do to make it happen, the sponsors (prizes galore, goodie bags, free cold bottled water in the lanes, a FREE racers appreciation BBQ Sat night), the Bristol staff, and the racers themselves.
