beaver77 OP member B Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 54 Iowa	What oil are you guys running in your 4 speeds, I have heard some of the newer gear oil can couse problems.

Ma Mopar put 85/90 WT in some of the OEM 4 speeds cars and some came with ATF in them, it depended on which year, factory building the car and where the car was going to be sold from I've used both(and mixed them later) with no harmful results The early (Pre 1971) NP833 had prolems shifting smoothly, the ATF helped cure that New Procees(the tranny company)changed the syncromesh assemblys three different times over the years along with two changes on the side covers to make their trannys shift easier Last edited by Cab_Burge; 07/14/13 08:31 PM.
