5.2 AND 5.9 1500 have same brakes 5.9 cummins 2500 are differant, they might be for 5.9 cummins

Shop for the brake parts on rockauto.com and look at the pictures. They frequently have dimensional drawings of the brake rotors. I've used that info to compare parts from different cars.

as far as I know, the only difference is in model (1500 vs. 2500). of course, the cummins was never available in a 1500.
On the 1500, 5.2 (or the 3.9?) were standard, while the 5.9 gas engine was optional. On the 2500, 5.9 gas engine was the base engine, Cummins optional.
I agree, while they referenced engine size, what they were really getting at was 1/2 ton v.s. 3/4 ton brakes, which are different.
