All you have to do is pull the cap. Rotate the engine until you can see the two Phillips screws under the top plate. loosen them and adjust
I don't have a good way to post pics right now but the post under new products," plug and play billet distributor" has a picture if you look at the 12 o clock position of the pic with the cap off you can see one of the screws

Had the distributer out and Rick called me back to confirm its just that easy. Said the slot was about 16° total adjustment...Got it dead nuts where I wanted it first try, 15° initial/35° total...It was 9-10° initial and the engine was not liking it. Probably could go higher, but depends where I end up with total. I will try this for now. It was really agrivating the carburator too.
