Is this a decent tray for a guy on a low budget.

I have a low deck with a 4.15 crank, it's suppose to fit but I want to make sure before I go buy one. Seems like a great price and comes with gaskets.
My current MP tray doesn't fit on this motor but it worked fine on the low deck 432 stroker.

I was just looking at the 440 Source tray and it looks good too when you factor in "good" gaskets it might be a better deal.

The problems arise with different styles of pick-up tubes......you may still have to hack out a relief in the windage tray for the bend in the pick-up tube (If it has a few bends).
I used a Mopar 4.15 tray with the 440 source 7 quart pan and pick-up.....had to cut an oval area out of the tray to get everything to fit.
Works OK....just a little bit of added work I hadn't planned on. A box of Bud's took care of that!!

Gus are you referring to the 440Source #127-1002? I don't see any mention of having gaskets with it. I have external oiling so I'm not worried about the pickup tube.

Well, I gotta bring up this old thread cuz I was gonna get the Mopar Performance P5007345 tray today at Summit but it's out of stock.

They have the Milodon in stock, does it fit a 500" low deck for sure? I'm using external oiling.

I'll check 440source again too.

Does the 440Source tray come with 2 gaskets?

No gaskets. I don't us gaskets on my 572 I use the right stuff from Permatex, never had a leak. But it is a pain to get the pan and tray off after the stuff sets up

The Mopar brand stroker windage tray will hit the front of the stock oil pans, even some of the deeper aftermarket oil pans that use a stock Mopar oil pan core to start with I still have some of the billet .250 oil pan spacer that allow you to use a stock windage tray between the spacer and the oil pan with a 4.375 stroker crank with Mopar size rods PM me if interested ($75.00 each plus shipping)

Get the milodon stroker tray .

What size rod journals ? Side note I have the non stroker milodon tray in my 3.9 stroke engine using 2.2 big end rods .
