I bought a Holley 750DP with the choke tower milled off.

Is there any way to confirm this is really a 750?

What would be the performance differences between a regular 750DP with the choke tower, with the choke tower removed, and Proform 750 main body (doesn't have the choke tower)?

Thanks.

Greg

measure the bore diameters. I have no actual ex with proform main bodies but what I have read posters have been happy with them

proform mainbodys are milled nice to increase airflow..or direct it, they also have adjustable air bleeds. They flow about 823-830 cfm on a 750 DP base plate. The Holley should have a part number on the side. 4150?? get the part number and google it

On my other Holley carbs, the part number is on the choke tower. I didn't really see any other part numbers on my used 750 with the tower milled off.

my 750 HP doesn't have a tower so it's on the main body.

Regular DP would have it on the tower, if its milled off you have to measure the venturi diamters.

Do you know what they should be? I guess I can probably find it somewhere.
