MR_P_BODY OP Master Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 52,972 Romeo MI	I have a Clevite bearing(mains) with two sets of numbers MB 2035 P-U and the other is MB 2283 P.... its a .010 under set but I cant find a listing on it anymore.. is there another number for this bearing now days.. this bearing looked great and has lasted a LONG time so I'd like to use the same part.... any help would be great Thanks

MR_P_BODY OP Master Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 52,972 Romeo MI	Well ... more problems... the rod bearings I got are Clevite CB481P... the set I got from Summit are the SAME part number CB481P but they dont have the bevel for the radius side... any thoughts... I know I can bevel these but I thought I bought these with it.. its a .020 under bearing Thanks guys

B G Racing master Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 9,910 Eighty Four, PA	Try looking for any rod bearing marked N in the number suffix IE: HND heavy duty,narrow,dowel hole.P is standard width,H is heavy duty(usually tri metal),M is Micro,D is dowel hole,V for after market cranks with 2.375 journal in blown applications.Most all after market ,radiused cranks use the N or narrow bearings.It's almost impossible to find the old champhered bearings. I have a old rod set up to do it.. I just thought I bought this set already to go.. but even looking closely at them I should have added more ... so I did on this set .. I'll finish this short block tomorrow
