Has anyone here used the Pypes brand exhaust? What if any input.
My specific interest lies in the 3" system with their X pipe for a 71 B-body. How do they compare to say TTI?

The only feedback I can give is that I put there high flow x pipe on my 02 mustang.
The X made it actually quieter then stock despite two less converters.
Really nice well built system.
For the record I was shipped a $400 BBK system by accident when I ordered the $250 pypes system at no extra charge.
Having used BBK (JUNK) in the past I made them take the BBK back and give me pypes I wanted.
I'm glad I did

We've installed three Pypes systems, the last one on a small block Dart.
The systems fit pretty good - the band style clamps sucked tho' - and the Dart sounded very nice.
The price was right too. We got all 3 from Summit Racing.

I will have to modify mine because of the gear vendor OD trans but so far I like it.

Small block A body, TTI headers and Pypes 2.5 with X pipe.
Had to make a small bend in pipe to connexct to header collector. I had all connections welded.

Only hangers used are rear of pypes muffler and at tail pipe at bumper.
Rock solid, sounds great.

Here is mine with the 2 1/2" system with the street pro mufflers. Not a bolt in with TTI's and a big block. Sounds good, but would have had the local shop bend up pipe for me or may have considered the TTI system.
