Okay so i intally thought my car had really bad heat soak because when i tried i always gotta floor it what im thinking is this pump i have maybe shooting a shot of gas in the carb flooding it. When shuttin it down it runs like 10.5lbs of pressue on my gauge is that too much plus i know when i had my eddy carb on my orginal build. On this engine this car with a stock manual pump it always ran great know i have a holley 750 dp with a no choke the car runs great just hard to start i tried mashing the pedal when cold and it starts the same as when hot.

10.5 is too high, but that is not causing the hard start problem , but it will create another problem

It wouldn't blow past the needle and seat on _just_ the first hit of the key.
Are your floats adjusted properly?
Sure your gauge is good? To get 10.5 psi I mean.

I can't afford this. mark
