The turbos are always way low hanging on these cars (SRT Challenger). That's the ONLY reason I went ProCharger. I have a love of turbos but the way the exhaust comes out of a HEMI and the wide motor make for a hard install in a cramped engine bay.
That's what I was thinking///that unit sits really low and if you dropped the car any, you might run into issues. I think STS might sell a rear mounted turbo system for Challengers.. http://ststurbo.com/

If Mopar would've made the stupid exhaust bolt patterns non side specific that would've made things SO much more turbo friendly. A guy cant take a set of exhaust manifolds off a Durango or something and swap sides. Stupid a## engineering in that dept.
Mopar to the bone!!!

Anyone looked into drilling the heads to mount the manifolds on the "wrong" sides? Enough meat there? Thanks Curt
Oh yeah...THAT'S gonna leave a mark!

i was thinking the Gen III in a racecar/A body or something other than the Gen III challenger. Im still looking at hardware... i should be specific and say for a non modern chassis 70s race car..

You'll probably be welding up your own headers then. So you can count on fabing everything from scratch.
