leaking from the stem, is there a quick fix, or do i need to change the whole set up?

aside from buying the whole heat riser kit. there's nothing to say fix the stem?

The stem has to be removed to drill the manifold for the bushings. The internal flap is welded to the stem so a small grinder is needed to remove the flap. Needless to say the manifold is coming out to do this.
