That tool used to remove those funny clips on a/c and fuel lines on Mopars.

On the newer style a/c and fuel lines you wrap the tool around the metal line next to the connector and push it into the joint and it expands the spring that locks the lines together.

I used the same set at work for at least 15 years.They work good.Just be warned some lines are a pain to uncouple even with the tool.I usually pushed them together and sometimes twist the line.Fuel lines getting rusty were some of the worst.I have another set from SnapOn that opens and goes over the whole coupling.They work good to but a lot of times you cant get them on the line because of where the line is.Any decent parts store has the white ones.Rocky

Where to get those pliers? Bought the above Lisle kit, but hadn't used it yet, I asked about pliers, got a "what for" look.

That's the only way that I use them, I don't have the pliers.

Sometime if there is alot of crud in the connection where the locking spring is it can be hard to get the connection apart.
