71DemonRON OP mopar Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 484 PORT ALBERNI B.C. CANADA	Does anyone know if a 1970 b-body NON console Pistol grip shifter will fit in a 69' Dart or will I be smashing the dash. Pic's if possible. THANKS

Green_RB_Dart member G Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 33 San Jose, Ca. -- Honolulu, Hi.	I have done it. You will NOT hit the dash. You WILL hit the steering wheel. I used a console handle. Which steering wheel are you going to be using? With the factory diameter wheel, the non console handle will hit the wheel when you look for reverse. The console handle locates the main vertical part of the shifter to the right to give you more clearance. You may still have to bend it away, as I had to. Do not have any pics handy.
