Does anyone know if a 1970 b-body NON console Pistol grip shifter will fit in a 69' Dart or will I be smashing the dash. Pic's if possible. THANKS

I have done it. You will NOT hit the dash. You WILL hit the steering wheel. I used a console handle. Which steering wheel are you going to be using? With the factory diameter wheel, the non console handle will hit the wheel when you look for reverse. The console handle locates the main vertical part of the shifter to the right to give you more clearance. You may still have to bend it away, as I had to. Do not have any pics handy. Use a 71 B Pistol Grip. They are close to the same size as the original shifter.

what he said , the 71 B body bench seat handle would work the best .
