On a 70 Challenger with an 8 3/4 what is done to identify the sure grip? I have read that they were identified by an orange paint mark on the plug. Is this accurate or did they still get the round tag? Also which stud does the ratio tag go on?
Thanks for any help

My 1970 Duster with 8 3/4 only had the orange paint daub and no SureGrip tag. It did have the 3.55 gear tag attached.

1968 was the last year for the round, sure-grip tag.

Does anyone have a picture of the paint mark? Just wondering how big it is. Also does the gear ratio tag go on the drivers side or the passenger?
Thanks
