The original starter finally went in my 68' Charger.What would be a good replacement? Thanks for any info.

Put a mini in it.Mines a reman from Advanced.My kids is a 440 Source.Mines been in the 440 for close to 15 years.Just make sure if reman its a Ram 360.They are heavier.Mines for a 99 360 truck.Rocky

What he said. Don't buy into the hype of the big name, way to expensive ones. The parts stores sell remans and NEW ones. And they come with lifetime warranties. I like to use Autozone since they store your warranty in the computer so you don't have to worry about keeping up with a receipt, and it is a national database. Anywhere in the USA I can get any of my lifetime warranty parts replaced free of charge. Compared to say NAPA where you have to save the receipt (good luck finding it 10yrs from now), or Advance where you have to remember what exact store you bought it from because their computers cant talk to each other.

Edit: Im not sure how Orielly's warranties work, but a mini from anywhere will be a big improvement. You'll notice it during the install. Much lighter, faster starting, better sound to me. Pop off the factory cap at the connector terminals and bolt your wires directly to the starter. And sometimes you have to grind on the starter just slightly for a little clearance. Took about 5 minutes to do both.
