Took a couple of vacation days this past weekend for a little road trip. Left the house at 7:40AM and arrived in Cincinnati at 9:30PM. I went after this. https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/upload2/7691250-DaytonaFS.jpg
I already have a complete 90 model that is was going to build a car out of. This puts me years ahead of schedule.

I want to thank Doug Cook for his willingness to work with me to make this a reality. Hope to have it going by late fall or spring of 2014. Jim

Wow! Keep us tuned in on the progress - and a little engine / drive train info would be nice.

John, the drive train will either be my current 416 W2 and 727 or a SB W9. Depending on whether I sell my Dart rolling or T/K. I would kind of prefer to sell it rolling. But I have all the big pieces for the W9 already. This new car is so lite I'm pretty sure the old W2 motor would put it solidly in the 9's. Jim

Tony you sound like my wife. I have to live with her. I can put you on ignore.

Gary thank you.

BD yes it will be quite a change for sure. Always loved that DA wheeled Wayne County Daytona.
