Do these cars stop well with the original disc brakes and 10" rear drums. Plan is to run d gas (10.60)120/123 mph. This car has the stock wheelbase. Its backhalfed with full cage, Car weights 2500 w 200lb driver.

I can't answer that question, but is the car the old "Joint Venture" Arrow from Maryland? Mostly blue & red last time I saw it.

The one i am buying is in Colorado,no significant history ,old style bracket car,But has a very nice cage which will certify and some decent workmanship. But the front end has the stock struts and 4 bolt original type discs.I will probably rework the front suspension and maybe stretch the wheelbase some.

I stopped mine at 2300# running low nines at close to a 150mph with Dana drums and Mustang II discs up front. Stops WAY better with Wilwood on all four corners..
