Then insert the bolt (with the thin washer on it) into the adapter. Make sure the block circular recess is cleaned of all gasket material. Torque on the big bolt is 50 lbs (cleaned/lightly oiled threads) EDIT The thin one goes next to the bolt head (outside). I know i used a big 1 1/4" socket with a 12" 1/2 drive extention and 1/2" drive ratchet to reach thru my headers and leverage againts the t-bar while torqueing it by hand to the german torque specs of GOODENTIGHT.
