A few more pics after POR 15. [image] [/image] [image] [/image] [image] [/image] Mustang gas tank is next. I was a little premature with my paint cause I have to relocate that x member and weld in brackets to hold gas tank. OH well

Are you running a spacer for the front wheels? I had to have the rotor hub turned down for the wheels to fit. I still have to modify the dust caps to get the center caps on.
I finally tried those wheels on the front. Looks like I will be getting my rotors turned down too. What a PITA! I tried a 1/4" spacer, but the more I thought about it....just not a good idea. I'll have to look into a stubby dust cover also, I think I've seen them around.

I started on my mustang gas tank install, here's a couple pics. I went with the bigger '70 tank, 22 gallon I believe. I took out the existing X member here: [image] [/image] ..and flipped it over and welded it in the back. Now I have a built in mounting surface for the rear of the tank and I'll use some 1.5 or 2" L channel for the front. [image] [/image]

Great timing! Getting ready to do the same thing using a Stang tank on ours. Interested to see what issues, if any, you encounter.

So far so good. It may take another week to get back on it, just found out my floor is rotten in my camp trailer it's a 2004 and that's the reason I bought it, newer = no problems, right!?! Now I have to gut the whole front half....PITA!!!! Anyway I'll jump back on the tank and finish up with some pictures.
