I have a couple of old Dodge truck questions. I was in our local U-Pull-It this weekend and came across a real nice 75 Dodge D-100 that had some real nice stainless steel trim around the windshield. I was not sure if I had ever noticed this trim on any other Dodge before and I know my 77 ,78, or 79 didn't have it.. It was in very good condition so I bought it.. Was this an option on all trucks or?????

Next question.. My 77 Macho has metal door panels??? What's up with that???

You have 72-74 doors.

I think the early 70's D100's could come with the trim on the windshield simular to what the cars had then & sounds like someone put the early metal door panels from the 72-74 trucks into the PW which I think are the best ones to have, my

if it has a nice STRAIGHT chrome front bumper, grab it!

The windshield trim seemed to be a higher end option. I've had a couple with it. I think you need a specific windshield rubber and the clips seam to all break. The metal door panels are 72-74 as stated. Some think they are worth Gold and are "RARE" but they were standard. Hard to come by eh kinda rare No. I wouldn't have 3 sets if they were Rare.

My last purge 5 years ago I hauled 25 pairs across the scales
When I listed them for sale all I got requests for were SE fiberglass ones with all the trim

There's some pricey one listed on here.

Rare!! There was a guy here that listed "Rare fiberglass rear CrewCab door panels" in blue
He wanted $125 ea
After seeing his ad run a couple months
I messaged him & offered him a pair in every color made for $50 pr

He came down & sold his panels

Mmy '76 Adventure sport came with that option on it. I think it just depends on how high the option package.
