Way better friction coefficient--whatever that means--I have always used it and man! There is a difference! NAPA brand is Valvoline and good! Stay with a good brand and you will love it--the very new stuff is different ( stuff for new cars) I would avoid it and go with plain ole Napa F.

If I may, whats the best way to fill one for the first time after a rebuild. I put two quarts in the converter before I installed it, which is what the manual seemed to imply. How much more should I put in before fire up?
I can't afford this.

I'd at the least pour another 3-3-1/2 qts in the dip stick tube, start it, put the emergency brake on and trans in neutral. Let it run for a minute or three and check it. I put a deep pan (Mopar Performance) on and I think it took about 6+ qts maybe 8 qts.....I was chasing a filler tube and shift arm (tower) leak and I think a pan gasket leak and lost count. I have about 12-15 empty quart bottles of Castrol Type F in the trash because I didn't reuse the stuff I poured out (or leaked out ) chasing the leaks. The tower seal and dip stick tube O-Ring were a pain in the.....and I finally went with one of the new thick, metal reinforced pan gaskets when I put the deep pan on. No leaks now
I know it will take at the least 4 to maybe 6+ qts total if it was empty including the torque converter. Oh, and I put new stainless steel cooler line on too so that adds just a little to the total
