With a lot of money invested in the engine and the 727 I thought it might give me peace of mind to know that the alignment of the crankshaft with the 727 is perfect.

The tool is home made and not difficult to fabricate.

Here is (hopefully) a few pics showing the home made tool and the result. It was a painless and rewarding process.

I've done it in the past when using an ultrabell. on a powerglide . doing it on a 727 is easier.
