I have my interior sail panels off and can't see how these SE crest emblems are attached to the roof section in the back of the car? Looks like they just push in, no nut? If there is a nut, can't see how one would get to it behind all the metal. Any input? Thanks in advance.

They do push in, but the clips can be very fragile... As much as the emblems sell for before prying on the emblems I'd consider using a 1" hole saw on the inner roof structure to gain access to the clip so one person can squeeze the retainer clip while a second person gently pulls the emblem off the roof...

Not a great picture but...

Sounds good, but how did they do it when building the car? Inner roof structure leaves no room for anything to get back there, no hands.... That's for sure.

When they were building the car the emblem only needed to be installed & the clips are designed to slip in easily... But kinda like a barb they are hard to pull out... Plus when they were building these cars the line worker probably had access to a hundred SE emblems, if I had access to a hundred SE emblems I'd be staking out Ebay..

I understand now, no clip on the back side, The stud has a barb on it. Thank you very very much!
