David Lee OP enthusiast Joined: May 2008 Posts: 301 CA	I never ran the VIN of my Cuda until this evening and came up with something interesting. The VIN is BS23HOEXXXXXX, I looked at the engine and it has the same VIN on it. When I ran this VIN in a decoder, it came back that it came with a special order slant 6. Is this common for the VIN to be wrong about the engine

1_WILD_RT Management Trainee Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 27,347 Today? Who Knows?	What ever VIN decoder you checked is wrong... B = Barracuda S = Special (Makes it a Cuda) 23 = 2 door hardtop H = 340-4 0 = 1970 E = Built at Los Angles plant... Post the codes on your fender tag...

Thanks much, I wish it was still there, the original owner removed it before I bought it, and I looked for the broadcast sheet and it was not there.
