They most likley have 8 bolts for the flex plate also. I used a bryant 4.5 stroke crank with the cracks for many years untill a blower hub failure messes up the snout
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

It may be possible to clean up the cracks with an offset grind to 4.650? That would be a 2.200 chev journal, and will fit in the stock block for a very large stroker. I mentioned in other posts that center counter weighted cranks are more forgiving for stock blocks, putting less stress on the blocks because the center weights distribute the loads more evenly. I ran a welded stroker for quite some time years ago at 650 hp in a stock block, 4.5 stroke with some serious cracks in it before it finally let go. Do you have info on what machine work it will take to make it usable?
