I had an issue with that timing chain cover on my car years ago before I switched over to a billit one. The cam button was deflecting the cover and letting the cam thrust forward making my timing jump. Some guys reinforced their cover on the inside and maybe you did. If not and you still have the intake off see if the cover is deflecting as you GENTLY pry the cam forward. Other than that it looks GREAT and you will be hitting the track soon.

I don't run a cam button on this combo. timing is good. I never seen a mark on the inside of the cover in 800 runs. I did have to put a collar on the Drist-shaft. to keep the timing from moving around.
