Was going to put them up in the yard, but I was also thinking they might work really well on the trailer. I too would fore go the buckets, and just hang them on a bracket when I got to the track. Easier to direct the lighting.

Easier to direct the lighting. I'm a Electrician and hate Quartz lights, they shake apart and eat power. To me LED 12vdc is the way to go and use your trailer power to light them. I'm also curious to the power consumption. Hoping to be able to run them off the inverter/batt pack when generator use isn't required. Neat to have it plugged in for 10+ minutes and pick them up by hand because they are not scalding hot!

Well being LED I would think the power draw would be very low so if your inverter was big enough that it shouldnt be a issue.... J... if you can find out a price that would be cool

Would guess your inverter is 300+ watts and your fixtures are like 30watts each. New LED flood lighting stuff is great. Last edited by Just-a-dart; 05/12/13 06:51 PM.
