I would like to add some outside lighting to my trailer. Where would be the best place to buy the lights. I already have the buckets.

Thanks in advance for your help!

May take some fabrication but could you use something like this and fit it in your box.

Listening to a friend, who converted all lighting to led, I think that is the way to fly.

I dont have the outside lighting on my trailer and
I dont know if I would put them on(JMO) but I do
have 2 of the lights shown in the link and a double
on a stand... seems like the mounted lights just
dont get the light where you need them... again JMO...
also I have ran into the light buckets inside the
trailer on my buddies trailer... but I guess you get
use to ducking your head after a few hits

www.etrailer.com Not sure if they have what you need but they carry a lot of lights and easy to deal with.

My electrician buddy gave me a pair of these to play around with. Was going to put them up in the yard, but I was also thinking they might work really well on the trailer. I too would fore go the buckets, and just hang them on a bracket when I got to the track. Easier to direct the lighting.

Nope, I showed him those in my first post. He already has the buckets so he just needs the guts.

I'm a Electrician and hate Quartz lights, they shake apart and eat power. To me LED 12vdc is the way to go and use your trailer power to light them. I'm thinking about something like this next to my radio on my trailer door up high on a short arm.(think loading dock light)

I sorta like these... who makes them and where do
you get them... I like the idea of just hanging them
on a bracket... plus they would be moveable so that
would help

the pict I posted are LED lighting. He's a vendor for these and I'm honestly not sure of the cost. I'm also curious to the power consumption. Hoping to be able to run them off the inverter/batt pack when generator use isn't required. Neat to have it plugged in for 10+ minutes and pick them up by hand because they are not scalding hot!

Well being LED I would think the power draw would be
very low so if your inverter was big enough that it
shouldnt be a issue.... J... if you can find out a
price that would be cool

J body that should work no problem as long as your inverter has a higher watt rating then your load.

Would guess your inverter is 300+ watts and your fixtures are like 30watts each. New LED flood lighting stuff is great.
