how much heavier is a 4 link compared to caltrac

Remember that caltracs mount on a spring so add that
in.... 4 -link is lighter.. unless you run a mono and
caltracs then its close to equal

weight would be the last thing i would want to compare the 2 with.

If you can weld, use a 4link. I have CalTracs and they work fine. Both will clunk a lot on the street. 4link is a little lighter. As said before weight should be the last thing on your mind.

BS...Mine never clunk on the street...And so far, its had a best 60ft of 1.56....

so how do they compare traction wise?

Where is the cutting line where the Cal Tracs wont stand a chance against a 4 link?

Ron Rhodes has been 4:67 in the 8th 1.18 60ft on a drag radial in a 67-8 Camaro Cal Tracs and leafs. Think Guppy has been low 8s in a leaf spring Demon with Cal tracs Just takes tuning

Based on new records of 6.8 second et`s and 1.11 60`s w/Caltracs I`d say it up to what YOU want............
