Already have 18"s and RS3-A Coopers to go on and a larger brake is easier to modulate with your foot.... No chinese Michelin's or BFG's for me (Look it up where they started producing their passenger tires).

The country of origin is on the tire.
Michelin still makes a lot of tires in the US. Their primary plants are in Europe.

Michelin is over priced for what you get.
Feets your right the country of origin is on all tires. Look at most Michelin, BFG and Goodyear "Name Brand" tires most say Made in CHINA now.

jcc:
I am a very infrequent poster. Instead, I prefer to read the posts of people who come here to share their help, advice, opinions, and experiences for the benefit of others in the hobby.
You are no help at all. You try to get under the skin of other posters - again and again and again. You profess that you are "moving the hobby forward, one critical question at a time." That is a total crock. Also, you are disingenuous when you state that your "comments are based on a smidgen of logic." You simply want to be annoying - and you succeed.
Many people on this forum know how to constructively question the effectiveness of a particular modification to an individual's car without the question creating an ugly, back-and-forth, name-calling event. However, the manner in which you enter these discussions leaves everybody with a sour taste in their mouths. When you appear, you take the fun out of being on Moparts.com. I am thankful for the others who continue to elevate the discussions - they keep me coming back to this site.
You have already begun burning your bridges on this website. I look forward to the day when you are stumped by some problem and come to Moparts looking for help/answers and nobody responds to you.
You will probably post back to me with one of your typically smug (but not-so-clever) responses. As always, do whatever you want to get your jollies.

Wow.It looks like the jcc fan club has gained another member.
I, too, firmly believe this place will be far better without jcc.
Larry, he didn't give himself the title of "moving the hobby forward, one critical question at a time." Instead, a moderator gave him that title and it was surely done in jest.
I get the feeling he is but a child trying to fit in with the big kids so to speak. If that's the case, he's failing miserably.
Jcc, once again, I invite you to leave.
