Damn that's haulin I don't think I have a mid 9 in my motor..but I sure wish I did haha.I was really only hoping to break into the 10's and overshot a bit.But it's soooo close to a 9,i would be beside myself to break into that bracket. And those TTi's fit beautiful like you guys said.No clearance problems like my old Hookers on the stock 340.

I haven't even pulled the tires off the ground yet Last time out though was with my stock 130,000 mile 727 with a Turbo Action valvebody and Turbo Action 3000 stall. It would come up and JUST about pull em but wouldn't and was running 1.41 60's.Hopefully the new trans I bought from a racer running a car called Grape Ape will help.I also bought a 5000 stall. The car seems to run so much better, but that's just from the seat of the pants gauge by my shop.It could be in my head.

We were turning our 414 w5 engine 7500 a few years back shifting at 7k with 4.56s in the mud 200ft, we have dropped to a 6500 shift trapping @ 7k with 3.90 gear and are .5 faster, 12 to 1 engine with .680 lift roller 260s@.050 down from 280s @ .050 went from 5500 stall down to 5k, 1000 cfm race demon on both. it just flat out pulls faster and harder between 6500 & 7k than 7 to 7500 in this combo.

Thanks for the info.I guess those motors have enough torque without spinning to the moon.Switching to the 1/8 th mile might be easier on parts also
