Im pre adjusting my body panels, and have a question on gaps. Does the gap look acceptable from fender to cowl? I cannot move the fender back anymore. Any input? note the primer is the fender and the reddish is the cowl.

looks about right. That gap is usually a bit large.

What you want to try and achieve is an even gap from the gap pictured to the hood to cowl gap, then to the other fender.
