85 Van I am parting/cutting up. glass is going in the trash anyways but I would like to avoid busting this thing up and making a huge mess.

Not glued in, IIRC. Just cut the gasket.

Never had a van, so not sure.


It takes gasoline to interest me.

remove the lock strip and use a 10" butcher knife pressed against the glass slicing into the rubber all the way around it.

push glass out and remove the 1/2 of gasket that is left.

very ez and simple unless you need to re-use the gasket.
