frank OP top fuel F Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 2,138 tucson az	The oil pressure light will turn on with positive oil pressure and turn off when oil pressure is zero. Car is a 69 GTX with new wires. Any ideas?

Car is a 69 GTX with new wires. Any ideas? Two or three prong sender? Three prong has one for the electrically assisted choke and you might be hooked up to the wrong one. Might be a gauge sending unit instead of a light sending unit too. They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Ground the wire manually with the switch disconnected and see if your light comes on. Should be off when you unground it.
