The oil pressure light will turn on with positive oil pressure and turn off when oil pressure is zero. Car is a 69 GTX with new wires. Any ideas?

Two or three prong sender? Three prong has one for the electrically assisted choke and you might be hooked up to the wrong one.

Might be a gauge sending unit instead of a light sending unit too.

Don't be the exception.

It's a one prong sender.

The pressure switch grounds the wire when there is no oil pressure.

Ground the wire manually with the switch disconnected and see if your light comes on. Should be off when you unground it.

It that works ok then your switch is bad.

Yup.. When I grounded the wire to the car the light came on. Looks like I need to get another new switch. Thanks
