So how difficult are the front struts to replace if you buy the loaded units? The FSM isn't really too clear on the procedure.

Typically if you buy Quick struts they are easy to change.I did some on earlier Caravans etc.3 nuts on top,some have a cover over them.Then usually 2 bolts and possibly a brake line attached.Some the sway link and almost all the tie rod end.I can usually R&R a set in less than 1/2 hour on a rack.Rocky

The 300 is a different beast. Suspension is Mercedes Benz derived. I seriously doubt it'll be that easy. Trust the service manual.
