Yes, they do. Take the hinge covers off each side of the seat, then carefully work the washer/fastener off. Just work the seat back out of the center post, a little turning and you will see how it slides out.

I have already done that but on the inside of the seatback in the middle there is a stud that goes thru the seatback. The stud looks like it has an enlarged end making the seat not come out.I am wondering if I just have to wiggle the seatback off.Thanx for the pic Bull1tt.Do you have a pic of the other side of the bottom seatback..

They can be tough to get off sometimes. But you are correct - tilt it up some and wiggle it off.

The pass side on my 65 Fury came right off, but the driver side was a tough son of a gun.

I don't have a picture handy, but the end of the stud is bent upwards on the end. You have to maneuver around that - that is why you have to tilt it up.

Got the seat off and got the skin off 1 seatback....Is there special cushon material that I can get around town at like a fabric store or am I better off getting something fitted. The seat back cushon really is not in that bad of shape.I might just leave it.Then bench seat itself will be fixed.

well, both seat backs are done and it looks good. The bench seat is apart and almost ready to be reskinned.I have new foam to put on but a question about the old, original seat cushion. On the under side of the cushion there is burlap glued to the foam with about 17 small wires with running thru the burlap the lenghth of the cushion. What is the purpose of the wires and should I put them on the new foam.I have burlap I will glue onto the foam.
