I have a 79 Dodge 1/2 ton 4x4 and I have switched the front axle from an 80 which has the lock out hub assemby already. I need to do the part time conversion on the transfer case and wanted to if anyone has done the part time "Shaft replacement" in one of the transfer cases? If so where did you get the parts and what was the part number and close proximity of price? Thanks.

I did a 203 with a superwinch one piece hub and have had zero problems with 100,000 miles and pushing snow. I did a chevy with a Warn kit that was 4 pieces and same story, no problems, just shim the end play to factory specs.

I put the multi piece kit in a warlock and busted it a year later.(some bigtime abuse). Replaced it then with that 1 piece "crown" gear and all was well.
