i saw a early 70s camaro on youtube drifting and its got a hand e brake so my question is.If a guy wanted make his car do this would you make the front tire lock up like the old subraus because the rear is the driving wheels? that is what someone told me but i figured some one on here had to of done this once before

Plan on doing it to my car and there are kits that substitute your foot brake for a hand version. I don't see how the front wheels come into play because you are only altering your e-brake and that only activates your rear wheels. Old saying applies here, "You get what you pay for." Nothing worse then your wheels locking up and the handle breaking off in your hand.

You do not get the rear of the car to drift by skidding a FRONT tire.

Drifting is so four years ago! Why bother?

I don't agree with the above. Surely you were kidding.
I think that drifting and rally driving are immensely entertaining.
Regarding the OPs handbrake idea, I'm sure with some creativity and parts swapping it could be done easily. Plenty of 82-92 Camaro/Firebirds in the junkyards used this setup. Import cars from the 70s and later did too. Looking at the huge lever that dedicated drift and rally cars use, something similar could be made from scratch.
I'm sure that you are aware that the initial slide when beginning a drift occurs from breaking traction at the rear axle. This is achieved by either skidding the tires OR dumping the clutch to induce extreme wheelspin.
